JAYNES’ GANG BULLS SWEEP IN HAMILTON, EARN DOUBLE MONEY (February 01, 2016 03:05:38 PM)

BAYS’ BULLS DOMINATE AGAIN, LEADS GROUP TO DOUBLE WINNINGS IN SECOND “TRIPLE HORN” EVENT

ORCHARD, TX—With the 2016 regular season more than half-complete, two bulls are showing that they are already in championship form.  For the second consecutive event, Peek-A-Boo and True Believer (both owned by Brad and Jamie Bays), claimed the top two places in the Exclusive Genetics Champions class, earning scores of 88.60 and 87.00 points, respectively, on January 30 at All Star Qualifier 7 in Hamilton, Texas.

In addition having the hottest bulls on the EG circuit, the Bays’ earned an added bonus: their winnings from this event were doubled as part of the "Triple Horn” concept developed by EG and The Jaynes’ Gang in 2013 (more information on the Triple Horn program below).

For his championship buck, Peek-A-Boo’s earnings jumped from $4,725 to $9,450; when combined with True Believer’s check (doubled to $7,875), the Bays’ collected more than $17,000 from eight (total) seconds of bucking.

At this event, the EG Champions class paid five places, and each of the top five bulls were both part of the Triple Horn program and trained by The Jaynes’ Gang.

Doc Holliday (owned by Bob Whisnant, Don McKenzie, Paul Novak, and Conway Reimer) tied for third with 86.40 points, earning a check for $2,756.25, which became $5,512.50.  Doc Holliday also earned $11,700 from the first Triple Horn event, meaning that this program has brought him an additional $8,600.

Dr. Dippin (owned by Gary Long and Leap of Faith Bucking Bulls) also tied for third and earned $5,512.50.

Mr. Freeze (owned by Conway Reimer and Kevin Buckley) finished fifth with 86.20 points to earn $3,150 (doubled amount).

In 2013, Exclusive Genetics offered a special opportunity for owners, breeders, and trainers called the "Triple Horn”—under this program, the company agreed to create pot of money from program certifications that were purchased that year for calves born in 2014.  Depending on the number of calves certified by a breeder, his bulls would have the opportunity to double their winnings at either one, two, or all three Triple Horn events in 2016.

Led by The Jaynes’ Gang certification of 100 bulls (the maximum allowed), the total Triple Horn pot created was $80,000.  By investing so heavily in the program, those bulls certified by The Jaynes’ Gang are eligible to double their winnings at all three 2016 Triple Horn events.

On January 2, The Jaynes’ Gang ranch hosted Bucking Bull Games All Star Qualifier 4, the first designated Triple Horn event of the season.  The 61-bull field for that event was very deep, but the top two—Doc Holliday and Just Kidding—earned double paydays from their Triple Horn certification.

The final Triple Horn event of 2016 will take place with the finals of the Million Dollar Bucking Bull Championship, to be held during PBR World Finals Week in Las Vegas (excluding the champion bull).
